Taipei/ Nov. 19th, ¡®01 - As Intel promote the next generation platform - Pentium 4, the chipset vendors are so enthusiastic and wish to take this opportunity to gain the biggest market share. SiS is one of the first chipset vendors to sign the license with Intel, and takes leading in introducing the chipset ¡°645¡± that supports DDR333. . Because of it SiS is taken as the one with the biggest chance.

EPoX has been having high reputation in DIY and overclocking filed. The award-winning DDR series mainboard it launched recently, such as 8K7A (AMD760), 8KHA (KT266) and 8KHA+, are the favorite of overclockers . They have won more than hundred awards from worldwide professional hardware review medias. This new introduced SiS645 mainboard is targeted in the high-end market and provides maximum overclockability and stability!

Complete Hardware Features
EPoX EP-4SDA+ is based in SiS645 chipset support socket 478 Pentium 4 processor. It features 6 PCI slots for future expansion. As SiS645supports maximum 3G PC2100/2700(DDR333) memory, EP-4SDA+ equipped with 3 DDR DIMM slots. The onboard HP372 chipset, which is the enhance version of HP370, not only support IDE RAID 0, 1, 0+1, but also support the most pop IDE interface - ATA133. On the above photo, the red IDE connectors are for ATA 133 devices. Moreover, the EPoX exclusive feature - 2 digit debug LED, Post Port are also there. The Post Port will show the error codes while any mistake happens during installation. The system integrators could find the meanings of these codes in the user manuals and correct it. It improves the efficiency of system integration, and is the very helpful fools for DIYers!

Best Overclocking Settings in BIOS
EPoX EP-4SDA+ has complete hardware designs also perfect BIOS features. It¡¯s very easy to use and also optimize the overclocking possibility. CPU FSB, Multiplier, Vcore, DDR memory voltage and AGP voltage are all adjustable in BIOS. Furthermore, the FSB could be set to 200MHz with 1MHz increment. These settings are making the systems working under the highest performance and the best stability.

Even though, the safety of overclocking is also important. To protect the system components from damage caused by overclocking, EPoX has developed the latest technology - Magic Heath. Users could monitor the hardware status, such as CPU temperature, Fan speed and so on while start up the machine. Any irregular problem of the hardware could be found in the right time and adjusted. Besides, the new feature EZ-Boot could help to save the installation time. Users just press ¡°ESC¡± key and enter the setting of boot up device. No need to search for it up and down in the BIOS.
