win2000서버군에서 라데온9500/9700동작 안된다?

얼마전에 RADEON 9700 PRO를 구입하였습니다. windows 2000서버를 재설치하고 directx 9.0을 설치하고 그다음 CAT3.1을 받아서 설치할때까지는 괜찮은데 CAT3.1을 설치하고 rebooting만 하면 windows 2000서버 login창이 나올무렵 하나이상의 서비스가 잘못되었다고 나오며 그 다음부터는 rundll.dll에러,MMC에러 taskmgr에러 기타등등 결국 정상적으로 windows 2000서버가 loading되지 않습니다. rage3d등의 포럼에 보니, 같은 증상을 호소하시는 분들이 많더군요. 혹시 windows 2000서버제품군에 9700이 문제가 있는건 아닌지?
현재는 WIN XP사용중이며, 전혀 아무문제 없습니다. 따라서 카드불량이라기 보다 OS driver에 문제가 있는것 같습니다. 참고로 이전 8500에서는 windows 2000서버환경에서 잘 사용하였습니다.
혹시 win98,XP말고 win2000pro,server,datacenter등에 라데온 9700을 정상적으로 사용하고 계신분 있나요?
제발 해결책을 제시해 주세용..

1번째 사례
first problem i have ever had with an install that hasn t been fixed with the standard steps...so check it out
uninstalled my 8500 drivers, cleared the regestry of ati stuff, ran regcleaner, etc.
installed my tyan 9700 pro rebooted, all normal so far. standard vga driver lookin screen comes up.
installed cat 2.3 (tryed omeges also) and rebooted. got to the autologin porsion of the bootup (win 2000 pro) and system gets stuck in a loop, keeps looping back to the login screen.
booted in safe mode, removed powerstrip just in case. same problem.
did it all again with the omegas.
i am in the middle of a reformat on my game only drive no problem, but a reformat on my main working CAD and School drive is a major undertaking...
anyone else had this problem.

Here s what I ve got:
Shuttle AK31A Motherboard
AMD Athlon 1.33GHz Processor
512MB PC2700 DDRAM
I got a new ATI Radeon 9700 from Best Buy just today, and hooked it up. It was all jolly until after I installed the drivers.
I get a picture on my monitor, up until Windows 2000 Pro finishes loading. After the loading screen, the monitor goes black (The monitor actually turns OFF, here, not just a black screen).
This is, I am sure, a driver problem. Because when I have the drivers uninstalled, I run fine (In, uh, 640x480, 16 colours)...and I get the problems once I install the drivers. I install the drivers that come on the CD, I downloaded ones off the site, and I used the drivers that Win2k tried to auto-install....no dice, with any of them.
PLEASE help...

9500Pro on Win2000 Server/AdvancedServer/DatacenterServer
Just wondering if any of you are using 9500Pro on Win2000 Server family.
I am having some problem with the Catalyst... the latest 3.0, and also 2.5, 2.4...going to try Catalyst 2.3 soon..
the problem is, after I installed it, for:
Catalyst 3.0: 1 of the service will be missing...and the whole screen just idle there at "Preparing network connections"....
Catalyst 2.5: No complaint, driver installed properly with nice colour scheme shown. But idle at "Preparing network connections" too...
Catalyst 2.4: Same case as Catalyst 2.5....
Well..dun say me crazy for using 9500Pro on a server....but I have no choice as I am installing this server on the same gaming machine...
I know the chance is very slim....but just trying my luck.....do icq me at 7973115 if you have any solution!
