General Description
PSCheck is used to view the current performance state of each CPU in a system, as well as grant the user the ability to transition to different states.
PSCheck 3.1 and later versions are intended to replace prior versions of PSCheck for AMD Athlon™ 64, AMD Athlon 64 X2, AMD Turion™ 64, AMD Turion 64 X2, and AMD Opteron™ systems to provide a more efficient graphical interface for single and multi-processor configurations.
This version is not intended for distribution via:
· World Wide Web
· FTP download
· Posting on bulletin boards
· Any method that allows general access by the public
Processor Support
Support for Krishna and Trinity is Beta.

Usage Notes
Run setup.exe for a full uninstall/install.
PSCheck should be run with administrator privileges for proper operation.
Known Issues
When Installing on a fresh Vista install, make sure to let Vista reboot once before installing PSCheck or the PSCheck install may hang. This has been observed on 64-bit variants of Vista.
When PSCheck is launched by Non-Admin user, there will be an error message displayed “Could not create temporary directory”. This is because the user does not have sufficient privilege to create the directory.
Warning: Transitioning to invalid performance states may cause the system hardware to become unstable and in some cases cause the system to crash.
Warning: Tool could crash on certain UEFI enabled BIOS.
During Installation, installer might ask to close some of the running application which share a common module. Please do close those applications if asked for.
Effective Frequency value displayed won’t be correct in Windows 7.
