이글은 epox 관련 글이 활발하게 올라오는 포럼을 가지고 있는 aoaforums 에 2002년 3월 20일 게재된 글입니다.

테스트한 보드는 8khal 이었고 pci 슬롯의 16번 pin 을 사용해서 오실로스코프로 측정했다고 합니다.

(관련 쓰레드는 위와 같고 다음은 쓰레드를 연 사람이 테스트하고 올린 글입니다. 증거가 없어서 아쉽지만

First of all i dont care if you believe what iam going to say.What iam writing is truth,if iam wrong correct me.
I was curious why mine PCI ATA-100 card can run on this mobo at 211MHz FSB with the 8KHAL BIOS at 211*1/4=52MHz.

Iam running the 8KHAL bios and i used a Tektronix 100MHz Oscilloscope and measured the PCI clk using PCI slot 4 and PIN 16 of the PCI slot and disabled in BIOS the close empty DIMM/PCI option.Above 185MHz+ iam running the 3/4 memory multiplier.

At 133MHz FSB,PCI clk at 33.41MHz
At 150MHz FSB,PCI clk at 37.67MHz
At 166MHz FSB,PCI clk at 33.36MHz
At 174MHz FSB,PCI clk at 34.92MHz
At 190MHz FSB,PCI clk at 38.13MHz
At 211MHz FSB,PCI clk at 35.28MHz

These are what the oscilloscope said.Iam confused now since tha mobo has only 1/4 multiplier and the KT266A doesnt have any 1/5 and 1/6 mutliplier.Is the Oscilloscope damaged? Iam measuring PCI bus speed doing something wrong?

위의 테스트가 사실이라면 1/5 . 1/6 모두 올바르게 작동하는군요.

해당 포럼에 가보니.. 이 글을 올린 Nitza666란 분은 자신이 전자엔지니어라고 밝혔는데 지금 이분의 테스트결과를 보고 Pirata라는 분이 자신의 ABIT KR7A-RAID를 체크해보기 위해 테스트방법에 대해서 계속 물어보고 있네여.
