theinquirer의 뉴스란에 SiS의 새로운 칩셋정보가 올라왔는데 요즘 Intel의 850E와 쌍벽을 이룰수 있는 SiS R658칩셋과 AMD의 해머시리즈를 지원하는 SiS760 칩셋정보가 올라왔다.
자세한 정보보다는 각 칩셋별 주요 스펙및 출시 예정날짜를 알려주고 있다.
Intel Chipsets
6월: SiS R658 P4 system supports Dual RDRAM 1066 4i, 16dx2, ECC, and will come AGP 8X support
7월 : SiS 648DX which supports the P4 533, DDR 400 and AGP 8X
3/4분기 : SiS 655 P4 533 which will support dual DDR 266 and AGP 8X. SiS 660 P4 533 chipset with Ultra 256 graphics, supporting DDR333 and AGP8X
2003년 2/4분기 : SiS 649 supporting DDRII-400 AGP8X chipset and the 533MHz front side bus
AMD Chipsets
지금 SiS746 which supports DDR 333 and AGP 8X.
7월 : SiS 755 K8 North Bridge map for AMD supports AGP 8X
4/4분기 : SiS760 supports AGP 8X and Ultra 256 graphics for Hammer processors
SouthBridge
2/4분기 : SiS963 supports MutiOL 1G, handling six USB 2.0/1.1 ports, three Firewire ports, dual ATA 133, six PCI masters, MAC, audio, ACPI 1.0B, I/O Apic, PC2001 LPC
4/4분기 : SiS964 supports S.ATA 150, IPB ADSL, and the other USB and Firewire support, while the 964B will also have 802.11b support.
