INTEL의 2004년 칩셋 스케쥴이
공개되었다. 이번 로드맵에 따르면, 0.09미크론 공정 Pentium4 프로세서 지원 칩셋인 Grantdale-G의 디자인이 9월 29일에
완료되며, 2004년 2분기에 등장하게 된다.
그리고 Prescott 프로세서의 후속
버젼인 Tejas 프로세서를 지원하는 칩셋은 Alderwood가 될 것이다. 이 칩셋은 10월 13일에 디자인이 완료, 실제 등장은 2004년
8월이 된다. 2005년의 주력 칩셋은 Lakeport라 불리는 칩셋으로, GPU를 내장한 버젼과 그렇지 않는 버젼 두가지가 출시된다.
모바일용 칩셋으로는 Jonah 프로세서를
지원하는 Alviso가 준비중이다. Jonah 프로세서는 Pentium-M의 후속 버젼으로, 0.09미크론 공정에서 생산, DDR2 메모리와
PCI Express, FSB533 등을 지원하게 된다.
